Common questions about Norton 360 plans
Why is the second year so much more expensive?
The advertised price is an introductory price for your first year only. After that the subscription renews automatically at the standard price shown here, which is roughly double. Norton's own fine print says 'Renewal prices may be higher than the initial price and are subject to change'.
Does Norton renew by itself?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically and Norton bills you up to 35 days before the renewal date unless you turn auto-renewal off in your Norton account.
Which plan do I need if I want the private internet connection?
Norton 360 Standard and everything above it include the Secure VPN. Norton AntiVirus Plus does not.
Does the online backup work on a Mac?
No. Norton's cloud backup is for Windows computers only, although the virus protection itself works on Macs, phones and tablets.
