Common questions about Adobe Creative Cloud plans
Can I buy Photoshop once instead of paying every month?
No. Adobe only rents its programs by the month or the year. If you stop paying, the programs stop working, although your picture files stay on your computer.
Which plan should I get if I just want to edit family photos?
The Photography plan at $19.99 a month. It includes both Photoshop and Lightroom plus 1 TB of online storage, and costs less than buying Photoshop on its own at $22.99.
What does 'annual, billed monthly' mean?
It means you are agreeing to a whole year but paying in twelve pieces. If you cancel in the middle, Adobe usually charges a fee. A true month-to-month plan costs more but you can stop any time.
What are generative credits?
They are an allowance for Adobe's AI picture tools, such as replacing a sky or removing an object. Each use spends some credits, and the allowance refills every month. If you never use the AI features, the number does not matter.
