What is the difference between Individual and Families?
Individual is one account for one person. Families covers up to 5 people, each with their own private store that nobody else can see, plus shared areas for passwords the household uses together, such as the Wi-Fi and the television services.
What happens if I forget my master password?
On the Families plan another family organizer can help you get back in. On the Individual plan there is no one who can do that for you, so keep your Emergency Kit somewhere safe.
Will the price go up after the first year?
Yes, if you took the introductory offer. The regular prices are $3.99 a month for Individual and $5.99 a month for Families when paid yearly.
Does 1Password sell a plan for a small business?
Yes. 1Password also sells Teams and Business plans, but those are work plans rather than household plans and their prices are not recorded here.
