Everything else is the same on every plan, so those are the only questions worth asking yourself.

Common questions about LastPass plans
What is the catch with the free LastPass plan?
You have to pick ONE kind of device. If you choose computers, your passwords will not work on your phone or tablet, and if you choose mobile they will not work on your computer. To use both you need the Premium plan.
Why are the prices missing or uncertain?
LastPass's website fills its prices in after the page loads in a browser, so they could not be read from the official pages when this was checked. Please look at lastpass.com/pricing for the current amount before buying.
Can the family manager see my passwords?
No. On the Families plan each of the 6 people has their own private vault. The family manager can add and remove members, but cannot look inside another member's vault.
What is 'emergency access'?
You name a trusted person. If something happened to you they can ask for access to your passwords, after a waiting period that you set.

Features are well verified from official LastPass comparison pages; prices are not. Every LastPass pricing page checked on 2026-09-21 renders its prices from unfilled template variables ({LPPremium}, {LPFamilies}), the LastPass support site blocks automated fetching (robots.txt), and the checkout page requires JavaScript. The Premium figure of $36 a year comes from an older official LastPass blog post stating the regular price is $3 a month billed annually; the Families figure could not be established at all. Both paid plans are therefore marked uncertain. LastPass also sells Teams, Business and Business Max plans, which are work plans and are excluded from this consumer file.
