Is there a free version of Apple Music?
No. Apple Music has no permanently free plan. New subscribers get a free trial month, and after that you must pay one of the three prices above.
Do I get the best sound on the cheapest plan?
Yes. Lossless audio and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos are included on every paid Apple Music plan, including the $6.99 student plan. You do not pay extra for better sound.
Is the Family plan worth it for two people?
Yes, in most cases. Two Individual plans cost about $23.98 a month, while Family costs $19.99 a month and covers up to six people, each with their own library.
How do I stop paying for Apple Music?
On an iPhone or iPad open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Apple Music, then tap Cancel Subscription. You keep the service until the end of the month you already paid for.
