Does Prime Video show advertisements now?
Yes. Amazon added advertisements to Prime Video. To remove them you add Prime Video Ultra for 4.99 a month, or 45.99 for a year.
What does Prime Video Ultra add?
No advertisements, five people watching at once instead of four, 100 saved shows instead of 25, 4K picture and Dolby Atmos sound. It costs 4.99 a month on top of your Prime or Prime Video subscription.
Is paying yearly worth it?
Usually. Prime is 139 for a year compared with 14.99 a month, which works out about 40 dollars cheaper over twelve months.
Are there cheaper rates for some people?
Yes. People aged 18 to 24 and college students pay 7.49 a month or 69 a year after a free trial, and people receiving certain government assistance pay 6.99 a month.

It gives advertisement-free viewing, up to 5 people watching at once, 100 saved shows, 4K picture and Dolby Atmos. It replaced the older ad-free add-on.
