What actually differs between the plans
Only 4 things change as you move up the Netflix plans: people who can watch at the same time, picture quality, no advertisements, extra people outside your home. Everything else is the same on every plan, so those are the only questions worth asking yourself.

Common questions about Netflix plans
Can I change my Netflix plan whenever I want?
Yes. Sign in at netflix.com, click your picture in the top right corner, choose Account, then Change plan. There is no cancellation fee and no contract.
What is the difference between Standard with ads and Standard?
They both let two people watch at the same time in Full HD. The cheaper one plays short advertisements and a few shows are missing from it. The more expensive one has no advertisements and lets you add one person from outside your home.
Do I need the Premium plan?
Only if three or four people in your home watch at the same time, or if you have a 4K television and want the sharpest picture. Otherwise Standard is usually enough.
What is an extra member?
It is a person who does not live in your home, such as a grown-up child, who gets their own sign-in on your account. You pay an extra fee each month for each one. Only the Standard and Premium plans allow this.
